Dr. Keri Barnes :: Linnea McCarthy :: Jennifer Harman

 Linnea McCarthy is the office manager of Shasta Family  Chiropractic. She has been part of the chiropractic team  since January 2003. However she has been working to  contribute to the Chiropractic profession for over 30 years  by raising her daughter to be ethical, compassionate, and  honest. Her daughter is Dr. Keri Barnes.

 Linnea comes to us with 20 years experience in  management and customer service. She moved to the  Northstate from Olympia, Washington to work with her daughter. Linnea's responsibilities include attending to patient needs, such as scheduling appointments, answering the phones, accounts receivable marketing internally and externally. She also coordinates community lectures in which to bring public awareness of brain-based treatments and preventions. Linnea also has the difficult task of acting as the liaison between patients and their insurance carriers. In 2005 Linnea was recognized by the Chamber of Commerce as Employee of the Year for her incredible people skills and office efficiency. Another vital duty is to make sure Dr. Barnes has her mid day snacks to keep her energy up and her game on. She not only runs the office, she has also been touched by the power of Chiropractic Neurology, in her own health. Linnea suffered from migraine headaches for years without any relief. After a few treatments she has not had one for years.

Linnea and her husband, Terry, live in Shingletown, with their two shi tzus, Dudley and Daffney who often make public appearance at the office to amuse the children, (and adults). She has two other daughters, Melissa who is an intensive care RN, and Stephanie who works at Circuit City. Linnea is also a grandmother to 4 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter who all live in Washington.

Linnea reports that her favorite aspects of her job are working with Dr. Keri Barnes, being valued for having a larger impact than just an office manager, and witnessing first hand the power of Chiropractic Neurology in peoples lives. Linnea is not only Dr. Keri's mother, but treats all who come into the office like long time friends and family adhearing to the life's motto of Live Laugh and Love.
